After Care / Hair Care Guide

How to take care of your wig

  1. Don’t wear your wig too often, take breaks and rotate wigs to keep your wigs lasting for years
  2. Don’t just use any shampoo and conditioner. Use moisturising shampoos/conditioners to help keep the moisture in your wig.
  3. Don’t sleep with your wig WITHOUT a bonnet or head scarf. If you sleep without a bonnet or head scarf your wig can tangle and become very knotty the following morning.
  4. When washing try to have your wig off your head, this will ensure that your wig will be cleaned and washed thoroughly. Brush your wig before adding any water, then once brushed throughout add the shampoo/conditioner.
  5. When drying your hair place it on a wig stand, and let it dry overnight, comb the hair so when it dries it has no knots.
  6. Don’t put too much products in your wig, the build-up will have your hair oily and streaky. You want you wig to feel and look luscious. Products like got2b, edge gel, oils and hair serums must be used reasonably.
